After all the planning, we finally got started on the Boathouse foundation. In order to provide a solid platform for the structure, it was decided that steel pilings needed to be driven into the bank. The pilings each weigh several thousand pounds. A total of 50 feet of pilings were driven to a depth of 10 feet.
